Why we started
A Microsoft community in the heart of the country
Our mission and user group isn't unique - there are plenty of Microsoft-focused communities in the UK who do an amazing job. However, we were lamenting the lack of events in the middle of the country. So, instead of complaining - we wanted to do something about it. And this is when Midlands Microsoft Meet was born to bring those communities together in the heart of the country.
Our sessions can cover Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics, AI, Copilot, data, security and related topics. That variety helps people discover ideas beyond their usual field and learn from one another.
We are starting small: a user group in a single room with one shared theme. Over time, if there is support, we may look to grow the group to include more sessions, more speakers and more topics. But for now, we are focused on building a regular, useful meeting for the Midlands.
